lamps for someone

today i designed and created these two really awesome lamps made from a harney and sons tea tin. i'm really impressed with how they turned out. i never thought i'd be designing lamps. haha! but it's also making me a little worrisome. my stepdad especially is concerned that i will invest money into these, and won't get a profit... that they won't sell. that it will be a waste. we had this huge discussion earlier. can't i just make something for the love of making it without getting a lecture about money??!?!? i mean. i'm 22. seriously. and, yes, i still live at home. but do i really need to have this conversation still? i made these because i wanted to. i made these because i loved the idea of them, and wanted to see them come to life. we ARE created beings, and we are created beings that are supposed to be CREATIVE! :) so... here they are. in all their teasome goodness. and i love them.
